There are many Free and Open Source resources available to make your life easier – from complete platforms like Apache, WordPress or Drupal, to sample code and stock images. These sound great for your side projects, but what about your day job?

Free and Open Source resources are a great opportunity to reduce your costs and increase profit. But with Freedom comes Responsibility. Depending on the licence, this may simply require you to attribute the original authors, or may require you to release your new product, source code and all, for free.

This talk will provide some guidelines for incorporating open source resources in your commercial venture.
